Professional Development
The purpose of any professional activity is to improve student outcomes.  In order to accomplish this purpose, administrators, teachers and staff must focus on creating a community of learners who collaborate as professionals in the active engagement of their professional growth as the norm.

In order for Yukon Public Schools to enhance their organizational capacity to boost student learning, they should work on building a professional learning community that is characterized by shared purposes, collaborative activity, and collective responsibility among staff.
